The Nebraska 211 website offers visitors several ways to search for the information they need, including searches by location and need. It is a handy resource for individuals who seek help for themselves, whilel offering timely assistance to someone who's trying to help a friend or relative who lives in another Nebraska community. Government and social service providers will also find the website helpful thruough the use of a special search function that matches their specialized industry service codes.

October 2003 press release from Congressman Tom Obsborne's office regarding TOP: Rep. Osborne is pleased to announce a Technology Opportunities Program (TOP) grant through the Department of Commerce has been awarded to the University of Nebraska Public Policy Center. The TOP, a matching grant program administered by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), awarded funds totaling $600,000 to the University of Nebraska.
